1992 Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo

The 1992 Rallye Automobile de Monte‑Carlo, the 60th running of the iconic event, took place from 23–29 January 1992 as the opening round of the FIA World Rally Championship, featuring its traditional mix of dry asphalt, ice, and snow across 26 stages in and around Monaco and the French Alps. The rally was won by French driver Didier Auriol with co‑driver Bernard Occelli in a Lancia Delta HF Integrale for the Martini Racing team, finishing in a total time of 6 hours, 54 minutes, and 20 seconds after a closely fought event. Carlos Sainz placed second in a Toyota Celica Turbo 4WD, followed by Juha Kankkunen in another Lancia, underscoring the intense manufacturer rivalry that would define the 1992 season.
