This month marks the release of a new product line by Mini GT called Cube Carz. This line of cars reimagines 1/64 cars with a toon body style with more focus on playability while keeping Mini GT quality.

"We have finally revealed QubeCarz, and it is a huge relief! Bringing this vision to life has been a thoughtful journey. I deeply appreciate the dedication of my team, our distribution partners, and everyone who contributed to this project. Toon style model cars have been around for a long time, serving as a fun and expressive tribute to automotive passion. Many brands have explored this style, but I often felt there was room for a fresh and improved approach. Within our team, the concept of creating our own series of toon style model cars had been discussed intermittently, but it wasn't until last year that I decided to fully embrace the challenge.
Creating a cute, appealing toon style car may seem easy at first glance, but this is a common misconception. Unlike traditional scale models, toon cars require careful consideration. We had to determine how to make the car adorable yet recognizable, preserving essential visual elements of the original vehicles. We also needed to define a cohesive design language across the entire product line. These were just a few of the critical questions we had to answer.
As a brand, our responsibility goes beyond design alone. We must balance aesthetics, style, costs, and branding to ensure each model car meets our high standards. After countless hours of hard work and dedication, our team successfully tackled these challenges.
Today, I'm thrilled to present our take on the toon style model car: QubeCarz! It is my sincere hope that QubeCarz will bring joy to car enthusiasts everywhere, reminding us all that cars are meant to be enjoyed and celebrated with a sense of fun and playfulness."
